Join the crew of the R/V Sea Dawg for a sampling trip. We’ll pull a trawl net along the bottom of a tidal river to collect marine specimens. Participants will be able to examine and learn to identify the animals collected. Trawl samples vary, but a typical catch includes fish, horseshoe crabs, squid, stingrays and more. All the data recorded becomes part of Georgia Department of Natural Resources marine inventory record.
Registration and payment required by Feb. 2. Contact Kayla Clark, firstname.lastname@example.org or 912-598-3345, to register.
