Amarrious Wilson serves as a Coastal Ecology Research Technician at Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant’s Coastal Ecology Lab in Brunswick. He started as an intern in 2021 before moving into a full-time staff position. Wilson assists with gopher tortoise research, YoPro programming, and collecting and formatting cookbook recipes sourced from the Brunswick community. Wilson earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Morehouse College in 2019. He grew up playing basketball, baseball, and football, so he always had a passion for outdoor activities.
