Amarrious serves as a Coastal Ecology Research Technician at Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant’s Coastal Ecology Lab in Brunswick. He started as an intern in 2021 and has worked himself into a full-time staff position. He has been helping with some of the gopher tortoise research, the YoPro program, and collecting/formatting cookbook recipes collected through the Brunswick community. Amarrious earned his B.A. in Psychology from Morehouse College in 2019. He grew up playing basketball, baseball, and football, so he always had a passion for outdoor activities.
