Leslie Ferguson serves as program specialist for Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant in Athens, Georgia. Leslie spent over ten years working as a public-school educator, serving elementary age students and their families, primarily with special education programs. She obtained her degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from Flagler College in 2005.

Originally from north Florida, she moved with her family to Athens in 2014. In her free time, Leslie enjoys camping and hiking in the mountains, gardening, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
