Gentit is a marine resource specialist located at Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant’s Brunswick office where she provides research and technical support for the fisheries, water quality, and stormwater programs. She joined the unit in 2003 after working at Forfar Field Station, an educational field station on Andros Island in the Bahamas. Gentit grew up in Stryker, Ohio, and earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio.
