As Digital Media Assistant, Wise is responsible for Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant’s digital media presence, focusing on the development of engaging content for social media, website, e-newsletter and other digital platforms. Originally from Central Ohio, Shanon moved to the Georgia Coast in early 2021.

She obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography & Integrated Media from Ohio University in 2014. Prior to her position with Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant, Shanon served as Creative Content & Social Media Coordinator for a non-profit and freelanced as a photographer and designer for individuals and small businesses.

During her free time, Shanon enjoys traveling and exploring bookstores with a cup of coffee in hand.
