Stephanie Edgecombe has worked at Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant’s Marine Education Center and Aquarium since 2000. As administrative specialist, she schedules formal programs for fifth grade through college and adult groups, coordinates the logistics of their visits, handles income related to all programs, and provides other administrative support to staff based at the aquarium facility. Edgecombe also manages the cafeteria and supervises the kitchen staff who prepare meals for visiting groups.

She has a bachelor’s degree from the College of Charleston, an associates degree in accounting from Savannah Technical College and is working toward a Bachelor of Business Administration from Georgia Southwestern State University. Outside of work, when not driving her teenagers to or from school, work, sports practices and other events, Edgecombe enjoys cooking new meals, organizing, taking walks, and visiting either barrier islands or mountains with her family.
