Steven Kicklighter joined the unit in 2024 and works with our Facilities Manager to ensure the facilities and grounds of the Marine Education Center and Aquarium and Shellfish Research Lab are operational for research and visitors. A veteran, Kicklighter retired from the Air Force in 2011 after 21 years of service. He brings decades of facilities management, HVAC, plumbing and maintenance expertise to our unit.
