Join Marine Educators from the UGA Aquarium and Naturalists from Oatland Island Wildlife Center to explore sounds from coastal Georgia habitats and the creatures that make them. Do you know what animal makes that clicking sound you hear while standing on a boardwalk over the marsh? Do you know what animal is singing its evening serenade after a rain shower? We will make a nature journal together, make a few observations and introduce you to some of our noisy coastal neighbors during this after school program. When we finish, you can take your journal outside to make a sound map and continue your own observations of the sounds around you.
