Every Thursday in June and July, marine educators at the UGA Aquarium will host virtual programs designed to inspire wonder and curiosity about the coast by featuring different activities and animals. These afternoons at the aquarium will include a mix of games, art, stories and virtual animal encounters that provide fun learning experiences about the ocean. Children of all ages are welcome, but activities are designed for ages 4-8 years old with an accompanying adult.
June 4: Forest Friends
Can you tell the difference between bird and frog sounds? Join us this week to learn about all the amazing animals that live in your backyard! Make new animal friends by virtually meeting a snake and a frog. Afterwards we will learn how to make a water fountain for a butterfly and home for a toad.
