During this two day workshop participants will develop recreational fishing skills through hands-on field activities, lectures and labs. Some of the activities include a fish ID lab, a rigging tutorial, fishing by boat and a fish cleaning demonstration. Fisheries managers will share ways that anglers can contribute to scientific monitoring of fish populations. This introductory workshop on sustainable inshore fishing is well suited for beginners as well as experienced anglers who are new to saltwater fishing.
Registration and payment is required by July 20. This workshop is offered at a special reduced fee of $20 thanks to funding from Georgia Power.
