Georgia’s first Coastal Tourism Conference on April 12, 2019 will bring together business owners, tourism officials, government representatives, and community organizations interested in learning about our state’s coastal tourism industry. Throughout the day, attendees will have the opportunity to network with other professionals while learning about current trends, issues impacting the industry and sustainable tourism practices designed to strengthen tourism in the region.
Georgia’s tourism industry drives significant growth and prosperity for its local communities, generating more than $60 billion in economic impact. The workshop, hosted by Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant, is designed to build a collaborative community of professionals focused on propelling the coastal tourism industry forward to provide jobs and support local economies.
