The BECT Institute at South Carolina State, in collaboration with UGA Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant, is hosting a 1.5-day workshop that will bring together faculty, students and administrators to learn and collaborate in Savannah, Georgia at the DeSoto Hotel.

The goals of the workshop are to identify curriculum gaps and challenges at HBCUs and women’s colleges; create recommendations for institutions, employers, and funding agencies to address the gaps; and lay the groundwork for future collaborations.
