Discover the hidden wonders of the maritime forest during a guided hike with educators that will include interactive games and scavengers hunts. Before looking for animals in their natural habitat, visitors can enjoy a live reptile demonstration at the UGA Aquarium and interact with snakes and turtles that serve as ambassador animals for education and conservation. The hike is approximately one-third of a mile. Comfortable walking shoes and reusable water bottles are recommended. Children ages 5 and above are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
Pre-registration is encouraged to guarantee your spot. Click on this link to register. Online registration will close at 4 p.m. the day before the program. For day-of payment, please arrive 15 minutes early and bring cash or check. We do not accept credit cards.
