This 4-hour workshop will provide training on available communication and outreach tools, with a focus on utilizing GIS resources.

Community Rating System users and the GIS community are invited to learn about the connections between hazards planning and flood insurance rate reductions as well as how to leverage existing outreach materials, mapping programs and data to improve community resilience to flooding.

Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) Continuing Education Credits will be offered.
