Green Living: Film Screening of The Human Element.

Join us for a free film screening of the visually stunning documentary The Human Element, where environmental photographer James Balog captures the lives of everyday Americans on the front lines of climate change. Following the film, there will be a panel of local experts highlighting efforts to build climate resiliency in coastal Georgia. Panelists include Susan Inman, the Altamaha Coastkeeper; Randy Tate, Ft. Stewart/Altamaha Partnership Coordinator for the Longleaf Alliance; and Rachel Guy, Research Coordinator for the Sapelo Island National Estuarine Research Reserve.

Registration is encouraged. Register online here. Contact Kayla Clark at kayla270@uga.edu or 912-598-3345 with questions.

Note to teachers: lessons that pair with the movie are available for free on the film’s website.
