Calling all formal and informal environmental educators! Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant is partnering with the Georgia Sea Turtle Center to host a Project Wild and Wild Aquatic teacher workshop in Brunswick, Ga., on April 20, 2018.

The objective of the workshop is to certify the participants in the curricula presented: Project Wild and Project Wild Aquatic. Project Wild is a nationally recognized program providing proven, award winning, cross curricular K-12 education materials. Georgia’s Project Wild is sponsored by Georgia’s Department of Natural Resources. The Mission of Project WILD is to assist learners of any age in developing awareness, knowledge, skills, and commitment to result in informed decisions, responsible behavior, and constructive actions concerning wildlife and the environment upon which all life depends.
