Please join us for our annual Research Symposium at the Georgia Center in Athens, Ga. on May 31-June 1. Georgia Sea Grant-funded scientists from across the state will share their latest research on coastal topics, including sustainable fisheries and aquaculture, resilient communities and healthy coastal ecosystems.
Graduate students and Advisory Board members can attend free of charge. To RSVP, email Angela Llewallyn at angelal@uga.edu.
Call for lightning presentations!
This year we are offering attendees the opportunity to participate in a lightning-round session. We will ask you to give a 3-minute, 3-slide talk focused on you and your work. We are particularly interested in hearing from students, new faculty members, practitioners and stakeholders working on coastal issues in Georgia. Email Mona Behl (mbehl@uga.edu) for more information.
The 2018 Research Symposium is sponsored by Springfield Legacy Foundation.
