Calling all kids, parents and curious adults! Chatham County students are out of school and the UGA Aquarium’s coastal reptiles are out to play. Have you ever wondered what loggerhead sea turtles eat? Or why snakes flick their tongues? Do lizards have ears? Learn the answers to these questions and more at our upcoming School’s Out Series: Coastal Reptiles.
During this special program, educators will explain the importance of native reptiles inhabiting our diverse coastal habitats. Participants will enjoy a live reptile demonstration, interacting with snakes or turtles that serve as ambassador animals for education and conservation.
This program is open to all ages, but children must be accompanied by an adult.
Registration is required and includes admission to the aquarium. Tickets are nonrefundable.
