School’s Out Series: Dolphin Study

April 7, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Explore tidal rivers and sounds by skiff while searching for local populations of bottlenose dolphins. Marine educators will explain various dolphin behaviors like spy hopping, tail slapping and chuffing. Children ages 10 or older are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.  Registration is required. Tickets are nonrefundable.

Special Notes:  

  • All boat activities are weather-dependent and require appropriate and adequate footwear and clothing. There is no guarantee of wildlife sightings but every program will include information about estuary ecology and conservation.  
  • UGA boat captains reserve the right to cancel boat programs in the event of unsafe weather conditions. You will be notified the day before your trip.
