Did you know that clearnose skates lay delicate egg cases commonly called mermaid’s purses? During this virtual program, marine educators will show you a mermaid’s purse and baby skates at the UGA Aquarium. Learn about the incredible diversity of sharks around the word before exploring why local shark and ray species are so important in Georgia’s waters and what you can do as a recreational angler to help conserve them.
