UGA Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant are in the process of updating a four-year strategic plan. Every four years, Georgia Sea Grant hosts a series of meetings to gather broad input from its constituents, project partners, and faculty to create a strategic plan that serves as a roadmap for Sea Grant’s research investments, in addition to marine extension and education programming over four years. In an effort to engage additional coastal stakeholders in the strategic planning process, a public input meeting has been scheduled at the Brunswick Station on September 19, 2016.
The public meeting is an opportunity for members of the local community to learn about the strategic planning process, and to provide comments through structured conversations on current and emerging topics, program implementation, and community involvement.
