Join us at the UGA Aquarium for the final week of “SUBMERGED: An Underwater Exhibition of Bioceramic Artwork,” which will feature pieces created by Assistant Professor Casey Schachner, a 2022 Georgia Sea Grant Artists, Writers, Scholar’s award recipient, and her students at Georgia Southern University Betty Foy Sanders Department of Art. The pieces are made from a native algae material, and they will be displayed in the aquarium’s 16 exhibit tanks.
