*To ensure the health and safety of our community given the recent Coronavirus (COVID-19) developments, this event has been canceled. We will do our best to reschedule in the fall.  

UGA Marine Extension and GA Sea Grant will team up with Tybee Clean Beach Volunteers to pick up trash around the Tybee Beach Pier. Volunteers will receive t-shirts, buckets, pickers, gloves and bags for sorting out recyclables. All trash will be identified, sorted, and if possible, recycled or reused. If you would like to register a group for the cleanup, please contact Luke Roberson at Luke.Roberson@uga.edu with your group name and number of attendees so we can make sure to have plenty of equipment on hand. 

Please dress appropriately for the sun and sand. Don’t forget sunscreen!
