Join us for an excursion to Wassaw National Wildlife Refuge for a morning on an undeveloped island. Learn about the natural history of the island and pull a beach seine to collect small organisms living in the surf zone.

As this program is grant-funded by Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s Outdoor Fund, we will be helping in their effort to keep Georgia’s waterways clean. Using bags made from recycled commercial shrimp trawler nets, we will be collecting marine debris along the beach while we explore.

Program is for ages 10 and up. Participants under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
