SUMMARY:Block Party and Grand Reopening of the Ocean Discovery Center
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the Gray’s Reef Ocean Discovery Center’s newly reimagined\, museum-quality exhibits with an exciting\, family-friendly ocean block party in the heart of downtown Savannah. This one-day celebration will mark a major milestone for ocean literacy and conservation engagement in the region—and the community and partners are invited join the celebration. \n\n\n\nMarine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant will have a table at the event with hands-on activities for people of all ages. \n\n\n\nThis event is co-hosted in partnership with the National Marine Sanctuary Foundation\, NOAA\, and the Savannah Downtown Business Association. \n\n\n\nJoin the fun on February 28th for the celebration\, ribbon cutting and a community-wide Earth is Blue block party with food\, drinks\, hands on activities and live music!
