DESCRIPTION:Are you new to the area? Have recent wildfires raised concerns about safety and preparedness? Want practical guidance on how to protect your family\, pets\, and property during emergencies?  \n\n\n\nJoin Glynn County in partnership with UGA Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant for the Glynn County Prep Rally\, a free\, open‑house–style community event designed to help residents prepare for and respond to disasters. Attendees will have the opportunity to speak directly with local emergency managers\, first responders\, and preparedness experts and learn steps they can take before\, during\, and after an emergency.  \n\n\n\nThroughout the morning\, attendees can explore informational booths from key community partners covering:  \n\n\n\n\nEmergency evacuation planning \n\n\n\n\n\nFood and water safety \n\n\n\n\n\nDisaster preparedness steps \n\n\n\n\n\nInsurance and recovery resources \n\n\n\n\n\nPet safety and animal care \n\n\n\n\n\nMedical\, critical care\, and health concerns \n\n\n\n\nPlus\, enjoy prizes and giveaways as you gather helpful tools and resources.
