All month long\, a portion of every Bull River oyster order will be donated to UGA Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant’s Shellfish Research Lab on Skidaway Island. \n\n\n\nBull River oysters are a product of Savannah Oyster Company. Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant’s Shellfish Research Lab works closely with Georgia’s oyster farmers\, including Savannah Oyster Company\, by producing high-quality oyster seed. The lab also trains new farmers and studies aquaculture practices that strengthen Georgia’s coastal economy and the environment.

All month long\, 10% of Georgia oyster and clam sales will be donated to UGA Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant’s Shellfish Research Lab on Skidaway Island. \n\n\n\nOysters and clams sold at the The Fish Dock are a Georgia-grown product. Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant’s Shellfish Research Lab works closely with Georgia’s shellfish farmers\, including Sapelo Sea Farms\, by producing high-quality oyster and clam seed. The lab also trains new farmers and studies aquaculture practices that strengthen Georgia’s coastal economy and the environment. \n\n\n\nThe month-long event will kick off on October 1 and will run through October 31. Come enjoy a fresh seafood dish and help support the growth of shellfish aquaculture in Georgia! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOctober is National Seafood Month\, and we’re highlighting seafood all month long through special programs and fundraisers!
