Join UGA Marine Extension’s Coastal Resilience Specialist to learn more about the National Flood Insurance Program including the intent and history of the program, policy basics for residential coverage, a breakdown of supplemental policies, and the insurance claims process. Participants will learn how to identify flood risks and read flood maps, understand NFIP coverage, how to prepare for claims, and mitigation options that could reduce loss.
