Step into the world of one of Earth’s oldest animals during this interactive family program! Meet live horseshoe crabs of all ages, from tiny juveniles to full-grown adults, and get a chance to observe an educator feed a live horseshoe crab.
At this program you’ll explore the horseshoe crab’s incredible life cycle, unique anatomy, and important role in our coastal ecosystems. Discover how these ancient animals have remained largely unchanged for over 400 million years and why they are still so important today. Join us for an unforgettable encounter with a true living fossil!
Registration is required and includes admission to the UGA Aquarium. Ages 10 and older are welcome, but children under 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult. Tickets are nonrefundable.
