Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant is teaming up with the City of Brunswick and Keep Golden Isles Beautiful to launch the Love Where You Live campaign, designed to encourage residents to get involved in caring for green spaces that mitigate flooding and protect water quality in local neighborhoods.
As part of the campaign, kiosks have been placed in public areas where green infrastructure projects have been installed to help filter and clean stormwater before it reaches our marshes. The kiosks include grab-and-go supplies, like trash bags and gloves, that people can use to help remove litter before it becomes pollution!
Together, we can keep Brunswick beautiful.
If you are interested in learning more about this project, join us at the Roosevelt Harris, Jr. Senior Citizens Center to learn about green infrastructure and how you can give back to your community!
This program is best suited for adults, but all ages are welcome. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
