Celeste Rivenbark serves as a Marine Educator and coordinates the Marine Education Fellowship Program. She joined the unit in 2025 at the Marine Education Center and Aquarium where she instructs field, boat, and laboratory programs and mentors early career professionals as a marine education faculty member. Rivenbark holds a master’s degree in biology from Miami University and a bachelor’s in wildlife ecology and management from Auburn University. She builds on years of experience instructing programs on the Georgia and Alabama coasts, managing educational initiatives, building community partnerships, and fostering growth and development for early career professionals.

Rivenbark is originally from Fairhope, Alabama where she grew up on the shores of Mobile Bay. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, sipping coffee at local bookstores, taking her dog for walks, and exploring the Georgia islands. She is passionate about sharing the wonders of the coast with others and is committed to inspiring curiosity and stewardship for the natural world.
