Soaking up the rain: Tybee Island projects

The City of Tybee is actively studying flood risks and exploring solutions to reduce flooding and improve water quality. Join us to learn about upcoming stormwater projects on Tybee Island and discover how recent research is informing their design. This is a great opportunity to understand the science behind local flood management and see how these efforts aim to protect both the community and the environment.

This program is recommended for adults, but all ages are welcome. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Questions? Contact Jessica Brown, Stormwater Specialist, at jtrbrown@uga.edu or call 912-264-7341.

This program is offered free of charge thanks to funding from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation.
