Join us for an Adopt-A-Wetland training session on Saturday, Nov. 23rd, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Learn about the importance of our coastal wetlands and get trained on how to monitor their health. The Adopt-A-Wetland program is designed to increase public awareness of water quality issues, train citizens to monitor and protect wetlands and collect baseline wetland health data.
Workshop activities will involve hands-on training on how to collect water quality data such as temperature, dissolved oxygen, pH, and salinity. Participants will also learn how to measure the biodiversity of our marshlands and waterways. This training session is free and open to the public.
