Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant invites students from multiple STEM disciplines to deepen their expertise and understanding of our ocean, coastal and marine resources. In particular, we encourage a broad range of students to apply from groups that are historically underrepresented in the sciences and students with disabilities. We also welcome students who have experienced, and worked to overcome, educational or economic disadvantages, or who have personal or family circumstances that may complicate their continued progress in research careers.
