Join UGA Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant for the fifth annual Oyster Roast for a Reason fundraising event supporting Georgia’s first oyster hatchery.
The event will take place on Saturday, January 29, from 1-5 p.m. on the bluff next to the UGA Marine Education Center and Aquarium. The event will feature live music by Sweet Auburn String Band and guests will have the opportunity to enjoy locally harvested Georgia oysters.
Early registration tickets are $75 each. Prices will increase to $100 on Jan. 7, 2022.
