We’re celebrating National Water Quality Month in August by offering a special event at the UGA Aquarium. Water Wonders will take place August 10, from 11 – 4 p.m., and will feature family-friendly activities and live animal encounters! Participants will be able to meet coastal animals, such as alligators, tree frogs and yellow bellied sliders, that depend on freshwater habitats. Browse the aquarium exhibits and see the diversity of animals that live in fresh, brackish and saltwater. All of these animals, as well as humans, rely on clean water to live and thrive. Learn about actions you can take to conserve water and improve water quality in coastal Georgia through interactive games, art and demonstrations.
Cost: General Admission to the UGA Aquarium. Please note that we only accept cash or check for aquarium admission. Visit this page to learn about admission prices.
