The Georgia Sea Grant College Program is accepting applications for the 2017-2019 Coastal Management Fellowship, which provides on-the-job education and training opportunities in coastal resource management and policy for postgraduate students.
The program matches postgraduate students with state coastal zone programs to work on projects proposed by the state and selected by the fellowship sponsor, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Office for Coastal Management. This two-year opportunity offers a competitive salary, medical benefits, and travel and relocation expense reimbursement. The fellowship period begins Aug. 1, 2017.
Any student who will complete a master’s or other advanced degree in natural resource management or environmental-related studies at an accredited U.S. university between Jan. 1, 2016, and Jul. 31, 2017 is eligible. Students from a broad range of environmental programs are encouraged to apply.
