The UGA Aquarium has been picked by The Culture Trip, a global online magazine that features art, culture, food and travel destinations, as a 2015 Savannah Local Favorite.

The Culture Trip provides recommendations for local and global hot spots on its website to two million monthly readers. Included in the list of Savannah Local Favorites are the Wormsloe Historic Site, Skidaway Island State Park, Pin Point Heritage Museum and more.

Located on Skidaway Island, near Savannah, the UGA Aquarium attracts over 25,000 guests each year. Visitors can interact with hundreds of fish and invertebrate animals from Georgia’s coastal waters, explore the Skidaway Learning Garden, walk the Jay Wolf Nature Trail, sign up for a barrier island exploration or climb aboard the R/V Sea Dawg to trawl in coastal waters.
