Water Quality Program Coordinator Katy Smith and Georgia Sea Grant interns, Cara Lin and Beth Smith, joined staff from Jekyll Island Georgia Sea Turtle Center and 17 volunteers to help cleanup and restore a riverside section of marsh on Jekyll Island.
The marine debris cleanup was hosted by the turtle center and AmeriCorps, UGA Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant, and the Satilla Riverkeeper.
